How to Choose a Bookmark for a Christmas Book Lover

Quick answer

Focus on the recipient's reading habits and holiday style. A whimsical design like the Christmas Cookies Bookmark suits a cozy reader, while a stack-of-books illustration like the Dashing Through the Book Aisle Bookmark works for a festive book lover.

Quick decision rules

• Match the design to their reading mood: If the recipient loves cozy, sweet decorations, choose the Christmas Cookies Bookmark. If they prefer a bold, bookish theme, go with the Dashing Through the Book Aisle Bookmark.
• Consider the bookmark's daily use: Both are 18 pt. cardstock, which is sturdy but not waterproof. For a reader who takes books to the beach or bath, look for a laminated or fabric alternative. If in doubt, cardstock is fine for most indoor reading.
• Think about the gift presentation: These bookmarks are sold individually, so you can pair them with a new book or a gift card for a complete present. The small size (2x6 inches) fits easily into an envelope or stocking. Add a handwritten note to make the gift feel extra personal.
